The Billy Thompson Foundation hosted its first-ever Billy Thompson All-Star Gala on Friday, November 10, at the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. As a basketball champion at every level, including back-to-back titles with the Los Angeles Lakers, Billy and his Foundation team will be pulling out the stops for this incredible inaugural event, which will feature celebrity appearances, an awards presentation for industry leaders (including Gary Lesser), dinner, entertainment, dancing, and live and silent auctions.

We raised vital funds for the Billy Thompson Foundation and its programs –the 5-Star Gifts Program, Champions Read Literacy Initiative, and Youth Mental Health Support –which provide opportunities for children and teens to succeed and become responsible leaders for the future. Cynthia & Billy Thompson are driven to build the Champion Center, which will be a place that unites families and helps individuals to achieve wholeness: mind, body, and soul. Their current and future programs will develop “champions” that are enriched spiritually, socially, emotionally, and economically. The aim of the Champion Center is to provide young people with comprehensive programming that reduces recidivism and provides a platform for rehabilitation for troubled youth, builds character, cultivates literacy, and creates opportunities to achieve success.
